List your fav mission. Mine would have to be bearbaiting. Very challenging, lots of fun.

-
Bearbaiting... cause I hate myself.
-
I think 99% of this forum would answer the obvious "Into the Lion's Den".
-
That's what I said last time... but it seems too easy ATM... I usually managed to kill a couple of Rakshasas in that one.
-
Meh.
A Flaming Sword.
-
Inferno.
It was hilarious, and the FREDing was amazing.
-
Yeah... the whole... after burning forever over a planet to... get obliterated by a giant ubership of doom...
Inferno's not bad... don't get me wrong... but the first release kinda bugged me.

I meant the mission (http://www.axemspace.com/jad1.html), not the mod.

Eh, let the newbies have their fun. Just because it isn't new for us doesn't mean it isn't a valid topic. :)
I have a more complicated idea. Rank the missions in FS2 from most favorite to least favorite. :D
-
sure i could do that, i need to remember the missions first.. but number one has to be that mission before the first SOC invite. feint parry repiste??

you mean riposte.
I like the missions where you were in the Bomber squadron, flying the artemis for the most part. (watching those mjolnirs go to work on those ships was awesome).
-
FS2 standard campaign, "Their Finest Hour" and "Apocalypse".
"We've lost the GTM Sydenham!"
:blah:
-
A tie between Exodus and Incoming Transmission...I guess I have a bit of a BOE complex, but I want some serious dogfighting. Also, Endgame is pretty good. Least favourite: anything in a nebula! I wish there was an option to turn the nebulas off, and play the mission in regular space.
-
King's Gambit.
The Mjolnirs, the Typhon, and the NTF hurling themselves at the defenses are just awesome...
-
anyway i vote for that mission, its a suicide mission that presents a hard task of trying to draw some fighters from cruisers anti-beam turrets, thats a hard task in itself on insane skill :P

It's the one where you are chasing Bosch.
-
no the NTD Repulse.
-
That ones damn hard... especially when you want the cruiser kills.
-
The name of the last mission in FS2 is NOT "Incoming Transmission," it is "Apocalypse." For anyone who has played FS1, you would know that in "red alert" missions the mission name is not displayed!
On topic: Call me a n00b, but I like "A Lion at the Door."
-
Hmm?
I personally prefered 'The Sixth Wonder'.
Being in a new intercept fighter, flying with my favourite squadron, defending the space station from hordes of bombers and two cruisers... and then when it seems that all is lost, the Collossus jumps in to save the day. I remembered my awe and wonder at the scale of that ship and it's immense firepower.
-
I can't remember its name but you all know, it begins with "DIVE, DIVE, DIVE. Hit your afterburners pilot!"..... :D
I don't know exactly why I like that mission, maybe it's the tension build up as more and more Sathanas jump in! Maybe it's the shock at the beginning or maybe it's just the effort put into escaping the shockwave of those Comm nodes exploding. I mean how difficult is that! to get close enough to the comm nodes to hit them and when they explode, trying to get far enough away quickly enough not to be caught by the shockwave! I always finish that level with critical health!

Don't worry about the rest, they are in denial! :p
-
I like Lions Den, probably because it's the first major beam fight and the first Shivan engagement.
-
The first Shivan fight is Lion at the Door.
-
Can't remember the name, but, from Derelict:
The mission in subspace with the Haulian where you encounter the Nyrlothotep.... sorry, can't spell that....
-
The first Shivan fight is Lion at the Door.
that one too :nervous:
the one with the Carthage & Dashor.
-
Transcend's final mission. It was... particular. Scary. But damn good, as the rest of the campaign.
-
One of the MT missions. :P
The atmosfear is really good.
