Nice modelling of the interior. It is defintely much better looking than what Lucas showed us in the Star Wars movies.

MasterJ, that's incredible. Nice to know that Imperial TIE pilots get better speakers than I have in my truck. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
That truly rocks. Now, let me show you a model that needs a cockpit interior.... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

I always wondered how the cockpit of an Argo class transport loooks like.
Any takers?

hmm, did you do it?
Otherwise, the FS cockpit is the volition one, no luck having it.

The Tie Fighter cockpit model.
Coz I've already seen it somewhere, a while ago.
And the FS cockpit, it's the one volition made for the FS1 intro, so there's no way we could have it. If Aldo asked if you could do one, it's for people to be able to use it I suppose (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Looks nice! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Simple "anti-traitor" mechanism I suppose... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

The handles might be to haul himself out of the cockpit. As for the rod part...?
-
Although Vader's TIE Advanced x1 prototype had a roomy cockpit, I never thought that they were that spacy in other TIEs. They're cheap, easily-manufactured drones, remember?

well, it's vader ship so...
-
nope in the novels they aer said to be spacy =) remember they are spherical =) that leaves alot of room for the pilot =) even in the back half is take for the engine they are still wide =)- in which was it iron fist i think perahsp solo command from the x-win series they got 2 people into a tie interceptor

Highly impressive. The quality is indisputable. I would really love to see how that came out with a Brazil rendering, though. Wonder what beta it's up to. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
Btw, does anyone know what those red marks on the triangles in the upper half of the cockpit signify?

Yep, they're there for the coolness factor. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Very nice job, but there's one thing missing: where's thatketchup lid that the TIE pilots are always turning to get locks on their targets?! To me those were the epitome of the TIE cockpit - all I can picture is Vader in that wonderful voice of his saying "I'M ON THE LEADER..." while screwing the ketchup lid... Very nice! Only one suggestion:
Keep working on it! It's dang sweet now, but with full textures, it would be even better. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

I fancy the idea of knocking up an FS cockpit, but I don't really have the time (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)
(or the animation skills to use it)
Maybe in the summer.

If I'm not mistaken, that Lucas should be George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars.
Or did he mean another Lucas somewhere? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
