Guys:
I have a funny problems with ITDOH4; after jumping out via the node that is destroyed by the black hole's event horizon, I have a mission where I need to investigate a couple of derelict GTVA ships: after I scan the 'Erenyes' fighter my game gives the message that I have downloaded new orders & my screen appears to be going to a new mission but I keep ending up at the start of the mission I just completed; Is there a way to break out of this loop & go on with the game or is that supposed to be the end?
NickM
PS: I keep seeing references to different 'fiction' for Chapter 4 and other portions of the IDOH story; are these fiction chapters actually written down somewhere where I can read them as either 'filler' or 'backstory'?

hi,
its normal, its a cliffhanger ending.
its the same like the end of chapter 3, there you good new orders, as the diablo jump in, too.
if my memories are correctly.

So...that's the end of the story, then? I mean: the scanning of the medical ship & the erenyes fighter?

For now. We have to wait until Chapter 5 comes out. When it will be released, noboby knows.

Guys:
OK, great---usually they cut to the 'exiting the mission doors' sequence when the campaign ends; anyhow...at least I KNOW that I've reached the end;
NOW...I don't suppose you know anything about that 'fiction' the keep mentioning during briefings do you?

The fiction files (in a ridicuously annoying format) can be found in the mod folder of the campaign. Folder named "Chapter 4(or any other chapter number) Fiction". They aren't that big, but shed some light on the campaign.

Dude, WTF. Post a freaking SPOILER Tag or let a homie know or something.

Slime:
What do you use to open the file to read it? I am relatively a novice on things PC....

Well, they are in .wps format (I don't remember which program can open those perfectly... Windows-something). If I open them with any file I have the result is mediocre at best. The actual text is there, but it's a little fragmented with these nice numbers and symbols in between them. And I can't be bothered to search a program capable of opening those...

They are microsoft works files. Word can convert them. If it can't, do a google search fora converter. One is available as the file WP6RTF.EXE from Microsoft.

Someone posted converted versions... but I have been unable to locate the link.
So: since I do have the converted files, I'll attach them here. They are in Word format. Enjoy.
