A lot of us have unusual sigs. So, here's your chance to tell how that stuff got in there.
Here's mine:
Kara's quote: Don't remember what we were all talking about, only that he was explaining the difference between gory and morbid to someone else.
Anakin's quote: I jumped out of a mission when he said that. My ship had 3% hull, destroyed comms, destroyed weapons, and no missiles.
The link: Self explanatory.
--------------------------------------
EDIT: Please don't kill me if this goes south... :nervous:
-
No.
-
Refers to my hidden addiction to Dance Dance Revolution.
-
Something Kris told the cast of Blade 2 at a meal.
-
My lack of a sig denotes my complete superiority over all you sig-wielding barbarians. It's like: I'm so cool, I don't even need to show how cool I am.
-
First quote - Just something I came up with.
Second quote - Refers to a line I said in Auto Assault on the human side during the "truces" that were in effect.
-

I agree, but I don't even need an internet nickname. Game. Set. Match.
-
Shrike is evil, I think we can all agree on that...
:shaking:
-
Long name, long nick, long sig.
There's no time to explain my sig...I even had to delete some stuff...
-
Here is my current one (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,44494.msg908210.html#msg908210)
I'm not going to bother explaining my previous one (the one about green beans), as it would take to much effort to type into a comprehensible form.
Then there was that <move>annoying!</move> one I had a while back, which is self explanatory.
I think I had some more, but I forget which ones. I should get the award for the most worst sigs in the least amount of time :p .
-
The end/beginning of Finnegans Wake.
-
Entirely self-explanatory.
Ford, did you just spoil Finnegan's Wake for me? (was never going to read it anyways)
EDIT: Plus a quote from The Areas of My Expertise by John Hodgman.
-
It's hard to spoil, given that you can technically start "reading" it anywhere.
That, and there's barely any of what you would normally call "plot".
-
Knight_Templar (whatever happened to him? is he still around?) once called me what's in my signature :p
-
First is a quote from Trigun obviously.
Second needs no explanation.
-
My signature means...
Karajorma sorta helped me out once (IDR when)
Snail said samething very quote-able... so I quoted it!
-
Links to FS ISOs, telling you I can host stuff for you, quote from futurama, and uhh, that's about it. Oh, and a quote from someone in #warpstorm.
-
explaining your sig isnt kvlt!
-
Nuke, has anyone ever told you that you're very klaased?
-
It means I have general lack of ideas when it comes to signatures.
-
I have not found a good one.
-
I have siggies turned off..., but IIRC, I quoted aldo because I liked his stance.
-
based on a cartoon network ad (replace Bobboau with Acme).
and a reminder of one of my favorite little stupid things found in the bible that no one pays attention too.
-
Mine's a quote from Metalocalypse, "The Curse of Dethklok."
-
Quote from campaign CB.
Mission title.
-
MOVE ZIG!! FOR GREAT JUSTICE!
ah, uh, ambrose bierce quote, redfang quote, aldous huxley quote, orwell quote
-
I don't keep a signature. :p I must be one of the very few regular posters here without one.
-
i Always lie, i love my Signature!
-
Random quote or lyrics.
-
Link to TI and SG, then a comment from Galactic Emperor after Hunters host pulled a fast one and conned him out of money and Hostning SG.
-
I'm not sure if the link on my sig even works anymore
-
What campaign I am doing.
Link to Steadfast's and other campaigns' website.
Link to ED's board in GW.
Karajorma Fan Club badge.
In which multi squadron I should fight (err... we haven't done any multi match yet :nervous:)
Something about planes.
What Admiral Edivad and Snail think about me when I talk about planes (link to the threads).
Funny Scooby's phrase about nose arts (link to thread).
-
Link to the GTI Rebellion site and forum.
Some quote from an0n a while back about Muslims and camels. Nothing really to explain, so I guess this post could almost be considered spam. :p
-

It doesn't. Although I think I have it (EU)stored somewhere, I dl-ed a bunch of FS2 campaigns but never played them (the intent being 'retiring' from the community and then doing so....hmmm, not a bad plan....)
-
IIRC I have it too, but it's in a little installer thingie that assumes FS2 was installed to the default location and spazzes out when it isn't.
-
Meatwad asks that question after Master Shake's brain has been invaded by Hypno-Germs, only to be vanquished by Mexican Jumping Beans. Ay! Mios Dio!
-
it's letters

Hrmph, thought so... oh well, need to fix it sometimes
-
mine is from 'Red Dwarf', 1990's comedy series set in space with atleast 3/4 of the orginal members still there. you got Lister, Cat, Rimmer and Kryten.
what caught my attention is what Kryten said "In space, no one can hear you scream!" it was supposed to be a joke at the time.
but what fasinated me even more is what William Petersen said as Gil Grissom on CSI "A tree falls in a forest and no one around to hear it, but doesn't mean it won't make a noise."(im not entirly sure i got that correct) so i put as a sig to everyone here to think just because space is a vaccum doesn't mean sound can't travel.
-
it's letters
Best explanation so far
Oh and, "In space, no one can hear you scream!" was actually the tag line of the original "Alien" movie. But it was quoted a lot since then.
-
quote from Galaxy Quest
-
Mine came from the retaded ass Freespace vs Wing Commander, because one of the admins from crius.net actually tried to start a flame-war, during the Derek Smart "crisis". I quote from the admin you probley know of (I'll just call him BL)
" We should not like Freespace, because Freespace is a legacy that killed Wing Commander. WC fans should hate a propcey without soul that killed our francise." END QUOTE
Also, while said admin of the website is normally a good guy, he can be a bit of a prick sometimes, In case you happen to like BSG or FS.
Sorry to go further off topic, but why cant I like both games for what they are?
Also, on the actuall topic, the Boanageres needs more fans..... If it had a turret.... and a magnum with heavy metal.....
