The GTA 'Istrano' under full thrust from the experimental rotary engines (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,44956.0.html) while the main engines are at minimum throttle.
The hull texture is just one of the tiles that comes with trueSpace. The exhaust plumes are done with a much modified procedural wood texture. Works fine in tS 4.x and 6.x but is totally borked in tS 5.x More views are in the linked thread above. The zip here is that scene, minus the blue sun pic- which I got from some NASA site.

If you want feedback, drop the BG, because I saw another thread in which people raved on about how cool it was. :P
Anyway, it looks unterranish to me.

Looking at it. It looks ok, but the ass end is very blocky and low-poly. And what's with the modeled thruster flames? :)

The modeled flames are just there for that image. :) It needs more detail and the top and bottom turrets are pretty sucky too. But good textures can make just about anything look fairly decent. ;)
It's not intended to be a super slick looking ship, it's supposed to be new engine technology hastily cobbled onto an abandoned cruiser or corvette prototype. There's a bay in the nose for a few fighters and it only has the two turrets.

Here it is with turrets and a bridge taken from the parts bin in DoGA (http://www.doga.us). The bridge has been lenghthend and widened a bit along with being squashed in height some to clear the turret. The turrets and bridge also underwent some re-work to cure some geometry issues.
