As a side note, I actually managed that once on Beginner difficulty.  I'll never get it again, and I have no screenshot to prove it, but at least I know it happened. :p

Damn :eek: thats fast my best time is 73 seconds with cards.

It is a h4x. As ludicrous as it indeed sounds, Microsoft Minesweeper(tm) does in fact include a cheat (at least one that I know of). It's pretty ridiculous. :lol:

Just google minesweeper cheat (http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=minesweeper+cheat) and you find out how to do it. Not that anyone in their right mind would want to cheat in minesweeper for any other reason than showing that it's possible.

You just set the number of mines to 10, so you only had to click once and the game was already over.

set the arena as big as you can, put he minimum number of mines. press a area and the whole thing is done just like that :).

IIRC...

I had 13 seconds on beginner.
I had 40-something seconds on intermediate.
I had 300-something seconds on expert.

Yeh i beat that game quite a few ways. I still try to beat my expert record. 5 minutes is too long!!

According to the "Best Times" feature mine are

9 seconds
37 seconds
117 seconds

I've never come remotely close to duplicating the last. 130-140 seconds is much more normal.
