When will Inferno SCP and INF:A support the Installer?

:D :)

They won't, INF SCP and the next INFA release are standalone mods so they shouldn't be installed over FS2.

Eh, take a look at this thread:

Does this apply to Inferno?
ie, would it be helpful to have the Installer point to your setup's .exe file?

We don't use an installer. We use a highly compressed 7-zip archive of the entire INF SCP or INFA folder, to setup for use the launcher just needs to be run.

I can't think of any reason why we couldn't support the installer, but then I can't think of any reason why we'd want to. Inferno will almost undoubtedly be distributed as a complete package - unzip to an empty directory and play.

Nothing else need be said on the subject.
