I put in some voices from Battlezone and FS2 into the game; I think there are quite a few people using those nowadays. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) They include the following:

Battlezone:
"Enemy Eliminated!"
"Another is crushed!"
"Another has died!"
"Target destroyed!"

Freespace 1/2:
"Direct hit! He's down for the count!"
"I'm going down! I'm going down!"
"Noooo!"
"Arghh!" (vasudan)
"Vuw-juw!!" (vasudan)

No.  You do much more than fly around looking for keys and blowing up reactors.
