Some competition to Warlocks never ending stream of Poser renders  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
Some Poser, Truespace, and lots PSP7.

You guys are still strange...

I'll let someone else get the first potshot... it's really rather nice, if a bit rough.

i can't see anything really wrong with it. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Perhaps you could make that flare more prominent, 'cause it looks too muted.

Nice! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

The only real suggestion I have is to make the guy on the right's visor smaller; otherwise it looks great. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

That's a pilot helmet. Perhaps I shouldn't have made it black  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

my suggestion is to get better characters, there's plenty of great ones on the net, try renderosity -or renderology, keep mixing the two...

I haven't found any *free* *male* charactes yet. I have a couple of females, although the standart Poser 4 female isn't that bad, and there are some really photorealistic textures for her.
And I already told you the P4 male is butt ugly  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) And the one I used has already been morphed to look at least human.

How come everybody is starting to play around with Poser? The next thing you know, Setekh and the rest will be producing renders of humans. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

I played quite some time with it too, but the UI is really too unfriendly.

You can get used to it, even to the insane amount of time it needs to save, create new figures, clear a rendered image off the window,...

The only thing that I will never get use to is this male figure. I really wonder who was the model for this one  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

the thing that really piss me off is for rotating/moving anything, it never goes the way you want.

Hmmm. Don't get me started on Poser's myriad flaws. I'll never stop.

Heheh, I went through my (rather brief) Poser phase already...   (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) Nice job, Starwing.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
