Title: Freespace 2, Joystick Help...
Post by: WeezY on February 12, 2007, 10:52:47 am
My joystick doesn't  work in Freespace 2, I have a Logitech Extreme 3D pro and it works in ohter games..

I have install the last patch to the game(1.20) and the last driver to my Joystick and try Wingman profil program…

is there a on/off button in the game – options or something

Freespace 2 support the joystick, I know…

I have the same stick, and it works great, so it isn't a compability problem.

Do you have the joystick as default in windows?

You can also try selecting from FS Open launchers's Audio/Joystick tab one of the options (like Force 0 or Force 1)

Same joystick I have... Load the software for it.  If it works with everything else just select it on the launcher either in open or Freespace1/2..it should be there deffault just detect joystick.

Most ships cannot strafe. Make sure that you're flying a ship that can do it.

The Terran Mara works for strafing and whatnot... you have to map the keys, however.
