I just got this free computer, like free, and would like to build it up..Its an older Micron 900mhz with 265ram and 256 mem..vast question "what to do?"upgrade ,duh, yeah, but with what?...Cheap good..here's the kicker. with moving the jumper clips i got the thing runningat 133hz fast for a dinosaur..and bump up the virtual mem I can run FS Scp {wow}and it looks good.. **** it's the only program on it , well xp pro and TBP and frespace2 scp.. well the now the PROBLEM :BLUE Screen of Death..Unmountable disk..But only after i downloaded The Aeros Affair scp and neo terra{something}...virus [could be the comp I dl'ed to and then copied to disk]
the dam thing ran great, for what it is ......
First how to fix ? with reformating ....I know this is a big Question I mean it's just a gaming computer and only for maybe 3 games and maybe some art, but, hell it was Free!.. I'm a Chef not a technician{sounded like Bones there sorry} Help plz ... Later forumites
