Our university slogan now appears to be:

Hull University - where students come first.

So good news either way you look at it.

They changed it from Hull University - Where students complain at the computer centre's inability to run a computer network?

Probably for the best.

I though IP was working at the computer centre ?

Nope. He working in the computing department IIRC. The Department is responsible for teaching. The Centre is responsible for running the campus-wide network which couldn't stay up for more than a week when I was there.

We have a seperate network in the computer department, I run that.

Haha, my university has something like that. The network constantly drops your connection if you're playing an online game. I don't know how many games of Battlefield 2 I've been disconnected from....

Not like I have any right to expect anything. It's the University of North Texas - "Where potheads go once they finally get out of high school".
