Title: Campaign Allied Worlds
Post by: Macfie on March 16, 2007, 08:26:40 am
After Princess Reiko Takashi's assassination in December 2nd 2343, the Imperial Leedran Military has been at war with the Allied Worlds.  As the Allies continue to lose battles, the hope of winning dims more and more.  Now, in 2346, Allied Intelligence has devised a plan that if successful, will turn the tables descisively in our favor.  As a TSRS Flight Commander, your job is to ensure it's success.

I've posted this campaign on file front http://files.filefront.com/6946328
This is a demo of a prequel to Allied Forces by Alex Harris

Eh? This is an ancient (adjective not species) demo, why you drawing attention to it now? Is there a full sequel in the works or something?

It's being put up for repair. Cause that's what we do on this forum. :)

Whoops, my mistake.

Sorry, I was doing an 'Unread topics' search and didn't see what forum I was in.

Hi!

You cannot believe how flattered I am that people are still talking about his... even if its ...from however many years ago.  I created Allied Worlds way back in the day - back when I was 14.   I'm 26 now and currently working on a master's degree in computer animation (with my undergrad degree being in film.)

I'm honestly not sure if anyone will read this - but if they do !  Ha!  I'm so glad people still might enjoy Allied Forces, Allied Worlds,  or even The Jake War, 1, and 2..  (let's not forget Wolf Pack Legaxy for FS1 either!)

Anyway - just thought I'd check in.   I was randomly searching the internet tonigth - and now very glad I was!

I vaguely remember those campaigns. They were quite interesting.

Well I don't really remember much about them... just that I played them to the end, so they must have held my interest.

It's nice to know you are still around, Alex.  I appreciate your work on these campaigns.  There may have been some slight tweaks to them but they are mostly the same as the original.  Both Allied worlds and Allied Forces are on the freespacemods.net website.  Also Wolf Pack Legacy has been converted to work with the FSPort mod.  I've got a copy of all of them along with Jake war 1 and 2.  I still enjoy playing them every once and a while.

Those are real forgotten gems, glad to see them being upgraded.
