Inspired from another thread (I don't remember which one), pick who you want to run for President of the USA. Since there are so many, I only listed the main ones (And one of wishful thinking, Giuliani).
I voted for Obama.
-
snuphelupagus!
-
Go McCain.
-
THIS IS SPARTA!
-
vote with a bullet
-
Y'err all falling into the same old Democratic/Republic trap, a mere changing of masks every few years.
Ron Paul FTW!
-
actually, it'd take a ****load of bullets to get someone decent into the white house.
you'd need to shoot the lobbyists too.
-
I don't know the candidates stances atm (only a very broad sense of what they stand for), but I'm going to say I'm leaning for Obama atm.
-
John Edwards.
-
when you put in a fake choice like that, it ruins the whole poll.
-
Yeah especially a retarded fake choice that, for some reason that eludes me, is currently in second place.
-
i want the statanist who plans on impaling bush once elected!
-

Varg for president!
Seriously, I voted for Rudy.
-
None of the candidates have impressed me yet.
-
General Zod of course! >>;

I threw in Leonidas for president as a joke...I didn't think anyone would actually pick him... :nervous:
-
I'm curious as to the real results, so forgive me for editing out Leonidas and resetting the poll. Everyone please vote again (I voted Guliani). :D
-
Sorry, non-voting felon.
-
as much as i think someone with ideals, who is able to stick with their ideals (Leonidas) would make a better president than any politician, i had to pick obama, cause he is both a democrat, and is not hillary.
sure, edwards is from my home state, but that works against him more than it works for him (more likely to be christian)

Am I the only one who thinks that electing president a bloodthirsty Spartan king from a fetishistic, comic-book-derived orgy of violence is a horrible, horrible idea? Am I just a crotchety old traditionalist?
-
yes, you are.
lol
-
Guliani
-
I'm writing in Aken Bosch.
Maybe he can get us rid of these f**king Zods stealing our jobs and taking our welfare money...oughta build a wall between Sirius and Deneb...*grumble*
-
I want Romney to win the Republican primary. From what I've heard, far more articulate than his opponents.
I want Obama to win the Democratic primary. Again, far more articulate than his opponents.
We'll see from there.

I watched that ****head running my state and thought it would never end-- if he were to end up running the country I would hit the sauce hardcore.

Nay!
Because we all know that elections are false.
False in the eyes of your God-King Xerxes!
Kneel before the one who controls goat-head, lobster-hands, and MAGIC! *boom*

Didn't you already do that last time round?
Oh, right. Spartan.

I didn't believe that so many would pick him. Thanks for the vote fix.
-

...here on HLP??!?! :wtf:
-
We usually vote for an invisible mammoth, Leonidas is nothing! ;)
-
Snuffleupagus. ::)
-
MacGyver! (http://www.specialfarm.net/macgyver2008.html)
Actually, I think the whole thing's kind of pointless. Hillary will win the Democrat primary, and she'll lose the election, unless there's a strong female republican vote that'll swing her way (which I doubt). I suppose I'd probably like Obama to win, based on his policies and his fairly non religious outlook on life (at least, as non religious as I think you can get as an American politician these days), and because it'd be funny watching Howard squirm on the off chance they're in office together (I dread to think). Giuliani will probably win if he gets the republican primary.
-

Not to say that McCain isn't a formidable candidate either.
Guiliani stopped over in Indianapolis a while ago, and I've got to say I was fairly impressed. If either of them win the primary, I'll be voting for them.

Not Sure (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sUmqq0pcpw)
-
Obama's too young, or I would vote for him.
-
I'd go for Romney. He seems to be able to work well with both parties (as a Republican in Mass., and the political polarization is a real turn off for me, so being able to do this is very important), has a good track record, is smart about economics, has a variety of experiences, is articulate, is able to spell out his plans rather than just say he has some (yes, Edwards and Kerry, I am looking at you when I say that) and has a refreshing lack of scandals and skeletons in his closet.

Obama FTW!
-
Obama.
I got dragged into a political discussion during a math help class including my teacher and two other people, and we started discussing the likely politicians who would win.
Clinton is a *****, anyway.
Also, the snuffleupagus thing is freaking old.
-
I cannot but love the fact that despite every Democrat liking Obama waaaay more than Clinton they're still going to cheer for Clinton because "she is electable". Yay for tactical support, haha.
-
Al Gore..
-
I voted Other (Specify) whoever they maybe?? :drevil:
Seriously I voted that way as there was no "None of the Above" as in "Brewsters Millions"
Richard Prior FTW! (May he rest in peace)!
