Since the encyclopedia mythica is gone, I tried to find something else that might be helpfull.  http://www.bartleby.com/65/ (//"http://www.bartleby.com/65/")

It's an online encyclopedia or something, it may not be as good as mythica but it is something.

Mwuahahaha. well, i already called one of woomeister shivan fighters "chelob" a while ago ( ok, it's not LOTR, it's silmarillion, but still)

Shelob is in LOTR. You're thinking of a different spider beast in the Silmarillion. You will recall that Sam and Frodo face Shelob when attempting to sneak through the mountains of Mordor.
