Ok guys
I just got a copy of 3d studio max. As I said before it is a COPY. So no manual or instructions. I have been working with different models and stuff just goofing around and learning the program. My question is about Cameras. Is there a way to use multiple cameras and have them come on during different parts of the render. So I can show different angles and stuff.
One other question about cameras. How do I bring up different cameras in my perspective view.
Thanks guys

Yes.
Crate your cameras then go to render menu---->video post.
You can create your cameras as scene input events and have them output to one file stream
if i were you id output to TGA files then use a compositor like Digitial Fusion or Aftereffects to then create your AVI.

I think he means copy as in illegal version - but keep this thread away from that kinda thing and I guess it's ok for now.

I know Riese too well for that Bob. Been a friend of mine since before I started in FS,..more likely a friend of his gave him a copy to play around with.
Oh and Riese...hit up www.google.com ("http://www.google.com") and search for 3ds tutorials. There's tons of them out there that can walk you through just about anything bro.
