LOL sorry if I mislead some people, I did have a problem but I solved it by doing my own research so I edited my post.
So yes indeed hello to everyone! I just managed to download the Earth-Minbari war campaign and played it through! I am a huge fan of Babylon 5 and this game is the best simulation I have met! I was deeply moved when I witnessed a Sharlin destroying a Hyperion for the first time! So beautiful :D
But I do have some questions if someone bothers to answer ;)
What controlling devices do you use? I find the keyboard to be resourceful but aiming is very difficult. I can´t seem to be able to use my mouse to aim, which would obviously help alot. There are options in the controls-menu for mouse but it just doesn´t work. Do you use a joystick?
I also discovered the fact that the capital ships don´t engage you actively :p They do defend themselves when you are in range of their weapons, but I was able to destroy a Tinashi with my plasma cannons (first took out the weapons while it was engaging a Hyperion) after the mission was "over" (all I needed to do was jump to hyperspace). The same seemed to work for the Sharlins too but I got bored because they seem to be really tough ships :p
I´ll be downloading the other mission-packs as soon as there is some bandwith left for me too ::)
Thanks to the developers, this is an awesome game!

I use the mouse usually, sensitivity set to highest (unless you have a very sensitive mouse to begin with; experiment with it & see what's best for you; start high, and work your way down). To get to the config, press F2 in-game, turn the mouse On, then whack the sensitivity to where it belongs. I also have a Saitek X45, but I find that this particular joystick is too hard to control for precise aiming; it works find to keep you on someone's tail until they change directions, then you find how far it is from all the way back to all the way forwards. In a mouse, you just start the other direction, ta-da, you are now changing course. The only problem is the dragl-pick up-drag syndrome. Sometimes I augment my mouse with the numpad on the keyboard.

Thanks alot, I guess I missed the "able mouse" option
Now my accuracy is up by about 90% :p

I got used with keyboard since I was playing FS2, so I had no problems flying in TBP (although in TBP is a harder). I could never get used with the mouse though. Is the one game I never use mouse on.

A combination of keyboard and mouse can work well. Keyboard for big turns and mouse for small ajustments and careful aiming.

BTW IPAndrews I just finished the Raider Wars! Excellent campaign, except that the last mission was a bit unfair :P took me about 1.5 hours to complete it!
-
Really ? For me last mission was just a shooting gallery.
Here : ERIS. Boom... Medusa...boom..well done.. applause.....
The LAST mission is the epilogue I think. LOL, I saw that one 2 weeks ago I think.
Is it just a hint, or is alpha1 supposed to be Dan Hale ?

For me the mission was Eris BOOM raiders BOOM hey wtf the Medusa Jumped 9 km away from me and I fail because I wasn´t able to destroy it? Well, then I just followed Eris to the Meduse but if you destroy the Medusa before disabling it you fail obviously lol so it was a bit unfair but now its done.
I´ve been playing Survivor but I can´t pass mission 6! It sucks because I do collect all the gold and the mission ends and it says well done but I can´t continue to the next mission because when I press the next mission button it says that I failed and have to try again!
