Title: Error, help!

I shared Freespace II with my friend recently, but when he tried to run the game, he got the following error message.
May anyone help me to fix this problem?

AppName: fs2_open_3_6_9.exe    AppVer: 1.0.0.1    ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180    Offset

Have you installed OpenAL?
