Okay... I've got a problem with PCS while I'm converting COB to POF.
PCS says me: You forgot to group these objects.
'
What should I do??
-
Have you read Karajorma's FAQ? You have to have all your objects in one group. For example, if your model has 3 parts currently, you need to group them together into 1 part. Use TrueView to do this.

I don't know what are you talking about. I've just generated a landscape in terragen, converted into cob, and now I'm trying to convert into POF. And I don't know how... :(

pcs expects to see a certain hierarchy of objects. you need at least one object group in your cob that contains all your geometryy. even if you only have one primitive its still got to be in a group. you might want to check if what youre saving the cob with can output object heirarchy.

Check the wiki people!
"If PCS gives a "You forgot to group those objects!" error message during COB > POF conversions, it just means that you need to glue a local light to the main hull object in Truespace. (This usually only occurs when PCS encounters a piece of geometry not glued to anything, such as a test hull for conversion or a forgotten bit just lying about your workspace)"

Bobboau has a decent tutorial in his signiture. Do a member search.

he probibly saved the file as cob through some other program and never went through truespace. people will tell you that truespace is required. but its not. like deep exploration lets you configure heirarchy before exporting. i havent tried using a cob output from it with pcs. but it should work in theory.
