Hades, try reading the multiplayer sticky at Game Warden. Very detailed instructions there on exactly how to configure your ports. Gimme a sec to find a link. And this is all assuming you haven't already looked there, which you probably already have. So, basically, I'm patronizing you.

Dude you are not helping him, if you don't have anything meaningful to say in this thread then don't post at all.
-
Might help if you gave us more of an indication of what's wrong than "It won't work"
-
every time i try to connect it says "CONNECTION FAILED".
-
Check step 3 of the link you were given. Have you done both of the things stated there?
-
what if you have a firewall that has no port forwarding option?
-
Then you stop trying to plug your computer into the light socket and actually use a real firewall. :p
There's no such thing as a firewall that won't let you forward ports as that is equivalent to simply unplugging the network. What you might have is a corporate/university firewall in the way which you can't configure.
In that case you're **** out of luck pure and simple.
-
does the name "sygate personal firewall" give you any more information?
-
Uninstall it and use XP's firewall? BTW, if you have a router you prolly have a hardware firewall built into it.
