I suppose it would've been easier to say what hobbies you have, but oh well.
I'll start with my stuff (seeing as how I started the thread)
1) ride my bike
2) go for a walk
3) listen to music
4) play saxophone
5) write
6) read
7) draw (in extreme cases of border)
eight) hang out with freinds (I would do it more often, but they all live so far away)
9) look for my wallet
10) talk to people and correct their grammar
11) get into arguments about reality with people
-
1) Fix it (if it's easy)
2) Use my other computer to go on the net and search for fixes
3) Read my Upgrading & Repairing books to find a solution for the problem
4) Play around with it until
4a) I give up or
4b) it does.
5) Contact the manufacturer (if they might be able to help)
If 4a, then:
6) Read a book
7) Watch a movie
8) Talk with someone
9) Sleep
10) Work
11) I used to ride my bike... don't much anymore.
Of course, during any of the points above, I might decide to check on my posts at HLP :D

I get really bored when the computer breaks...TV is incredibly uninteresting except when a few specific shows are on. The computer gives me unlimited reading materials. But yeah I guess I would read a book or magazine, ride bike, play soccer, shoot some hoops, go for a run, nap, otherwise waste time. Oh I guess there are game consoles around too... :)
Friends are a tough thing for me...they are a fair distance away and organizing any medium sized group get together requires allot of planning. Since only a few I know seems to be able to do this it nearly always falls on me.
-
1.) Try to fix the computer.
2.) After it's fixed, realize there's not much to do on it
3.) Go outside and ride my four-wheeler
4.) Go for a short hike on any number of hills I'm surrounded by
5.) Hop in my Jeep go down to the local gas station, and see what's going on
6.) Call up some friends, see what's going on
7.) Do yard work, since there's always some to do
8.) Go sit out on the porch and listen to some music and maybe grill some steak or something. optionally see if there's a beer in the fridge.
9.) If it's a good time of day, usually 12-3 PM, maybe do a little target practice
10.) Just sit down and think about things, usually involving creative ways for me to make money/meaning of life ****/etc.
11.) Watch porn

Holy crap thats amazing.
I wish I were you. Well no I don't, but you get the picture.

That's pretty much what I do each weekend, well not the PC breaking part. I guess I kind of take it for granted.
I usually compromise between a hike/four-wheeler ride though. Since I usually end up hiking when I go ride anyway.

my computer never breaks. muhahahah!
-
Well... since I just bought a new portable, and the old one still works (for a given value of 'works'; the digitiser's dying), and both of them run Linux, I don't have to worry about anything breaking and leaving me with nothing to do. Also, I have a dedicated desktop machine for games.
All three computers dying simultaneously is very unlikely, given that I take good care of them, but if it does happen I have a stack of scifi and a bookshelf of Discworld that I'm re-reading when AFK.
-
I work on one of my several Lego projects, my other serious hobby apart from computer games, or read math books and papers. That is more than enough to keep me occupied. I can't remember ever being bored in the last several years as long as I am at home.
Although I have enough computers and spare parts around the house that it would be quite extraordinary if all of them break at once, to the point that I have to wait for replacement parts to arrive for all of them.

Mines to... it just from time to time takes few free days :D
-
If my Computer broke I'd.....
1. Play games on my laptop.
2. Play games on my PS2
3. Play games on my phone (I have over one hundred games for it now and so far only played about three)
4. Play games on my PS1 (kept it just in case anything happened to any of the above, in fact I recently loaned it to a friend who's PS2 broke and he didn't have any other games machine in the house)
5. If I'm really desperate......I talk to the wife!!! :nervous: (and actually listen to her).

I guess I'd read a book. I've got plenty that I need start or finish. If I'm not in a reading mood, I might watch a movie. Those are all contingency plans if I can't get a hold of a friend to hang out with.
-
Read, write, watch movies, find some friends to have fun with.
-
Kill ants/rabbits in my back yard.
-
I'd kill snails in my backyard.

With sodium chloride.
Yo, Snail, you know I'm just joking, I actually think you're pretty cool. for a spammer. lol
-
That's funny... I'd use salt.
-
define: sodium chloride (http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3A+sodium+chloride)
-
I knew that sodium chloride is actually table salt. Just as I know that dihydrogen monoxide is a horribly explosive chemical.
-
LOL *swallows some dihydrogen monoxide* Actually, dihydrogen monoxide is quite deadly. if you breath enough of it in
