I just recently made this, so what do you guys think?

Actual size: 3 cm long...

Looks great... I'd be very proud to wear it... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
-
Looks like the kind of symbol the Shadows of B5 would use if they had a symbol - and it's very cool (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Can you get it made in pewter or something?
-
Pretty sweet, Now, try making something FS2 related (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
-
Well, I would be afraid if I was wearing that. A bad move, and you're dead (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)( 1cm, ok, not 3 (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) )
-
Well like the image says, It's just a prototype... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Oh and thunder... Check Here ("http://www.bbcdesigngroup.com/PROTOTYPING___MODEL_MAKING/CoolModels/coolmodels.html") (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

You can make your own? neat! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/drevil.gif)
At the moment I've got 3 pendants - I might scan them in, but for now I'll describe them. The first is a ying-yang symbol with 3 sections as opposed to 2, the second a sort of compass - although it doesn't show letters (just points, 8 of them) and the last is a clear glass half-orb in a pewter casing. I like them (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

cool, but I didn't even dare to look at how much it would cost (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
-
I don't think they show it on the site... But I'll wanna know when I finally have this made (one day)...
[Edit] Also I think there are more than just this one company who'll do this sort of thing... (haven't found any yet but who knows?)

Hmmmm, I might be able to get access to casting materials/facilities (I used to make small warhammer-esque figures (badly (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) ) and a friend I haven't seen for a while had a simple casting setup) but it would most likely take a while and it would be cast in whitemetal I think. Other than that it's going to be costly to find someone that will do a one-off.
Failing that I could make a resin version I suppose (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) I haven't done much RL modelling stuff since the lightsaber but I'll give it a go.

-
looks really cool!
anybody thinks it looks kinda like the statue of liberty's crown though?
-
Looks pointy. And sharp.
-
That's awfully pretty, Cobalt. When you get it made, post photos.

Whoa...what program was that made in? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/eek.gif)

Lightwave 6.5... It took around 30 minutes to render thanks to the light setup I used (almost makes me wish I had used radiosity instead), but I think it was worth it... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
And tell me, did Setekh and I have any of you thinking this was a real photo?

(http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/lol.gif) Just wondering... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

I guess a community of render artists and art critics isn't the best place to pull this stunt, huh? I just realised that... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

I told you they wouldn't buy it... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/rolleyes.gif) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Hey C.S. would you mind mailing me a three view of the pendant?
