Well well... what can-I say about this one. Life 2 is a kind of a "test" project for me. As most of my time is consumed by a lot of stuff, I can't say that this project will ever see the day. But now you might say "yea but why do you post this anyway?" First, to have comments on the picture, of course :).
I've been considering a loooong time about doing a web comic. Well I have RoadSign now, but like I said somewhere deep in the pages of the thread, it's not what I had in head at first. A while ago, I wrote a story (in french), that I started to translate and posting here. It wasn't really successful, so I dropped it. Zoinks. But still, I thought about it. So I decided to rethink the whole thing and maybe, someday, putting it on paper, and (but it's not likely to happen anytime soon), making a comic of it. So I will maybe post, when time allows, some concept and pages. It's been a while since I posted any drawing that I have done here, I'll see by the comments if I improved a bit trough the years.
So that's it basically :). I hope you like the picture! :)
And no, before I get this question, it does not mean the end of RoadSign.

ERmm....is that a rock?
-
Nope, that's a ship. It crashed there and has been burnt by the sun trough the years.
-
Now that you mention it...ya..that does look like a cockpit in front.. I was thinkignm "what a strange rock" ..LOL
-
Maybe it'll be more easy to "see" the ship with the original look of it:

If it crashed in a desert long enough ago to be bleached by the sun, wouldn't it be covered in sand?
-
Yep, should've put more sand on it. But considering the size of that thing, not entirely covered in sand. But indeed, it could use more sand on it.
Maybe I should've used a bit different texture to the ground - more like a dry crackled ground than a whole lot of sand.
