Title: mission editor for 3.4
Post by: drb1986 on May 17, 2007, 07:23:36 pm
hey i got 3.4 to work and i can do missions on it. however one more last step, i have managed to use the mission editor on 3.3a by taking the tables foder out of my TBP/data folder and have use the VP editor to take another ships.tbl out and put it in the data folder which makes 3.4 work.

however when i take the tables folder out like i do for 3.3a i get these errors

Error: species_defs.tbl(13):

waht FRED-build are you using?
this whole looks like you are using a fred build which does not support species_def.tbl in it's current from....

you should use the 3.6.9 build you can get from here

I fear I was uable to tell my FRED to open it...
but I was able to look into it using the *spooky noise* MICROSOFT TEXT EDITOR (muhhahahahahahahahaha)
I'll have to look at it again but currently I'm occupied with hacking a music.tbl
