Hey,
If you're like me, you're always looking for a good, free, fun, and legal space sim. Someone told me about Starfight Vi: The Gatekeeprs. It is freeware, and you can get it here.

A quick look at the official site (http://www.jpproduction.fi/games/sf6/) reveals a working download (http://www.gamenavigator.ru/files/file715.html).
I liked this game, though I recall it being a bit short. A shame the development of the sequel was stopped.
I never could get the prequels, expect for Starfight V, to work...
