Damn, i just checked the fs entry in wikipedia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Descent:_FreeSpace) And i found my usual hdrish asteroid field convoy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Htlasteroids.jpg). But, then to my surprise, i also found my vasudan corvette blasting it's flak at maras (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Htlsobekflak.jpg) shot on there as well.
This is so ****ing cool i got on there twice, i just like to take those epic screenshots i guess :)
Of course there's the other wicked screenshots on there, but it doesn't say who they're from :sigh:

Through a bit of tricky editing, I make cameos on almost thirty Wikipedia articles. The recent beanie-hat craze sweeping the nation is also my creation. Furthermore, one of my manifold clones once went on an unstoppable eating spree, fell through a time slipgate, and was elected Prime Minister of the British Empire in 1940. You know him as "Winston Churchill." I am also, due a series of highly obnoxious and entirely fortuitous actions, responsible for most major historical events, and will most likely be elected President in 2008.
Still, congratulations on drawing a little yellow line. That's not easy.

Hey, I got a question. How do you use the post processing filter to blur the screen like in the hdrish asteroid field convoy and is my video card able to do it. My video card is a Geforce 6600 GT Overclocked 128 mb.

Actually CKid, those are in game shots with hdrish taken last year when i had a radeon 9800pro. Hdrish was very nice, i just wish it didn't blind out the hud when say you were hiding in back of a ship staring at the engines. When you had hdrish, it hdrish'ed everything, so the menu's in fs2 looked all glowy and stupid, but in game it looked beautiful. Hdrish looked particularly nice when you played tom clancy's advanced war fighter. But, fs2 was the game that worked perfect with it. Like i said hdrish was not real hdr, and is static. It gave fs2 what everyone was looking for, which was actually getting blinded by the sun when you looked into it
And it made going into subspace look just perfect.

As I understand it...once the team is able to start putting shaders into the graphics then they can do these neat kinds of effects. Don't quote me on that but I believe thats the ultimate goal....but it will probably take a while yet.

I think many people have known since about a year ago that implementing bloom affects into the game is actually taking place and there is some screenshots for further proof (of which i don't have..use the search function). They said it was something they would be trying to put them into 3.7 release. After that they could decide on which SM module to use. Of course they through SM3.0 consideration as many people on the forums don't have that terribly new of cards. Most people on the hlpbb have SM2.0 cards, which can do real hdr and bloom affects and so on. Many people were considering SM1.1 and SM2.0.

:wtf: Then that was exactly the same as mine. seriously. :wtf: I am 100% I made it. I know I did, because I wasn't sure about putting the"eded" in it. Are you sure? Because I am sure. :wtf: .

You just don't know the perfect screenshot of the game i have in mind....yeah what's with the necro beam, i remember one said necro beam, and the other said necrothreadegeded.

I'm sure it's mine, I remember asking Goob to put it in as :necro:, and he said he would if I got the font to look the same as the :welcome: beam, the font of which has been lost to the mists of time. I spent hours in Photoshop comparing fonts to the :welcome: beam to try to find the right one.

Correction. That is the mini-mini-mini gun. Those are miniguns, gatlings are a lot bigger, but mini's are just smaller gatlings anyway, so in a way you're still correct.

Yup, they're different. Of course, the only difference is that the text is bigger in one. The question is, who made which beam first? And if all Turey did was spruce mine up, I should still get some credit for the idea.
EDIT: @jr2's links: :lol: I remember my 1337 custom title. I had it for like a day, then I got this one.
