...of Kadesh...
One of my favorite missions in Homeworld (two missions actually, the Garden and the Cathedral).
This is mainly the result of me figuring out how to make a decent explosion effect (that strange lava lamp thing was another result)...
Anyway, if you played the missions you'll understand the caption at the bottom...

I think its a lot better than the last explosion...or the lava lamp (I liked that but not as an explosion).
Is the backround supposed to be so red? I've never played Homeworld so I wouldn't know. I think the engine glows are really good and the beams are well done too!

I liked those missions. Good music, and the Kadeshi fighters, the ones that consumed fuel like a mongorasal, the Swarmers, yeah. And multi-beam frigates, mm I salvaged 4 of them..err yeah, good render.

those two missions were easiest as the Taidan. The Kushan have no good way to defend their resourcers, but the Taidan Field Frigate turned those swarmers into mosquitos while your corvettes hunted the fuel pods.
-
They were just defending there territory... that they stole... and trapped beings within.... and raided them...
I think there innocent enough

Now then, don't underestimate the power of the Dark..er, Drone Frigate.
It isn't that useful, but I consider the Drone and Field to be equal, in a sense. Except the Drone Frigate shoots back.. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/rolleyes.gif)
And, of course, the Homeworld campaign was intended to be played as the Kushan.

I haven't, and don't.

id also like to point out that, that hetshesput is screwed, those motherships are equipped with something like 16 head mounted beam cannons that easily rip through any ship, and about 800 swarm ships ready to launch is large masses from its 50 or so hangers. And of course the fun with ramming.

Is that why the Kushan fleet can't find out about the Kushan mothership fleet that just left the Homeworld? (Error in one of the early mission's dialogue) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Only four? I salvaged them ALL! No need for anti fighter defences any more (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
Oh, and yes, the render is nice. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) That's an Hatsepsut on the left?

Three bems, or four, but never sixteen. The Mothership would be very screwed if it was sixteen. And the fact that it always rams one or two of my frigates while turning around is annoying.

Alright then..
The Great Nebula, its a massive, resource rich nebula that you have to travel through while trying to reach Hiigara. As you find out, its home to some very.. strange.. people. One you first come into contact with them, their representative says "Welcome to The Garden of Kadesh.." and they then proceed to kick your *** ...

that looks kind of like a screwed up TIE fighter...anybody else see that? like, four wings that have been placed wrongly and a slightly different cockpit.
What's it actually supposed to be?

It's an Ion Frigate, iirc.

Ion Array Frigate..
The Arrays on either side of it are supposed to amplify the ion beam...
The fold up close to the hull when not in use...
-
Is this a render, or a screen from Homeworld, or TAP?
