I prefer the red....
besides red being canon, they also look better than just white.
i know in one of the videos with the making of B5:TLT it shows the warlocks fireing white beams, but thats just cs its in development and im not sure any textures at all where being used
btw: Cant wait for The Lost Tales

Are those beams on the warlock fixed guns or turrets?
And if they are turrets, how far can they turn?
-
I think that the beam turrets in warlock are fixed.
-
They're fixed like most heavy primary batteries in B5 ships.

Spinal mount, they likely have some form of electromagnetic focusers one the barrels for fine adjustments. Something kinda like whats in the back of TV tubes. I'd say no more than 5-10 degrees in any direction. Also I think the red is the correct color but it needs some kind of fall off like in an orange hue, not too much though.

The beams on the Narn G'Quan are fully red, then just fade off into nothing towards the edges. Earthforce Alliance ships have red beams but fade to a reddish orange at the edges.
