Hey there,
while I can't contribute to this mod anymore (not even enough time for WCS left) I still have this model here rotting on my harddisk, and personally I think it would be a shame to waste it. Are you guys interested in finishing it ? It's in TS 5.1 format, untextured.

looks vaguely like the thing on the cover of The Krytos Trap
i suppose we could find a use for it somewhere.
once it gets UV'd and textured

Platforms and small installations are the most useful things to hae in your shipset bar none, froma FREDding perspective.

Actually it's pretty close to the original canon model, except for the turret models and their placement on the central body

I like it. I think someone might take it on in their spare time, but I don't know anyone who can open a native TS 5.1 file, it might need to be exported to TS3.2, Max, or Blender for anyone to do anything with it. But it is a very nice mesh, and I'd hate to see it go to waste too. I'll even make sure it gets a profile on the website if it gets picked up by someone again.

Well, I have 3d-Explorer, and TS itself can also export a few different object types, though that's usually a little dangerous. Since I don't have any UV-Coordinate to preserve I think I can even try a 3ds .
Try this : I've included the original TS-Scene file, a cob file from TS 5.1 and a 3ds created by Truespace. I might come up with a few more variant if you guys need them, but try those if anything can be opened.
