I'm stuck at college for 2-6 hours a day doing nothing. As you might of noticed, I do a lot of wiki browsing/editing. Just wondering, anything particularly productive for me to do that anyone wants done?

Well I started that one with an ambition to make it similar to the FS2 version but my memory of FS1 was only of the first act since I had only played the OEM version thoroughly (the second and third acts I played in a flash), and I really wasn't motivated to go research it all out. :P
The Shivan one has been started too, BTW.

The problem with working with any ship list is that I have to have FRED access while I do that. And you can't install stuff on the college computers (you aren't given Administrator status, of course), so the mod database seems like the only option.

Now that I think of it, I have no idea what you're talking about. Mod database? This? (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Total_conversions) Do you mean a list of all the custom ships and missions in every mod?

Alright, next time I come to school I'll carry my Derelict files with me on memory stick. Try to get as many mission briefs up as I can. You can assist with the walkthroughs, if you like, but I'll write them myself also. But it's Thursday, I get out and have a break until Monday (woo!) so this is actually a little late for that. Next week. At least I can get the Pirates entry started over the weekend.

Down at the bottom of the page you can see that someone already tried to make a mod database, just never got a whole lot done. So what should we use? The one I set up, or this one? I prefer mine because it's worth having all the campaign information in one place, not tucked under "Tutorials and Downloads".
By the way, I got the first mission walkthrough done.

I got started on the mod database and ran out of steam; been working on the TBP shiplist on and off for a bit recently.

I would start making a profile for every user-made mod ship now if I could have a generic ship profile to develop upon.

Steal any of the ones from the existing profiles for canon craft.
