Title: Reasonable hosting prices?

Hi guys,

I rarely update my old tripod site as to be honest i never feel as though they are "proper websites" i've got a few things i'd like like to put up on a website as i'm sure most of you have :)

I was recently looking through some prices and on the way to work today i saw a building not 2 minutes from my own called "NETscalibur" curiously enough i checked their site (as i tend to do :nervous:) and i wondered if you think their annual prices are quite reasonable for the space and bandwith as to be honest, i've no clue.

If anyone has any reccomendations for a first full .COM .ETC host please feel free :)

Aww come no guys, i need an opinon of an ADmin or similar Net-spert.

Are the prices ok oir extortionate?

PM the guy that pays for HLP & GW site bandwidth.  Trying to remember his name, but I'm sleepy... ah, krackers87 or somesuch, I think..  Plz dont' shoot me if I'm wrong!  :nervous:

I think he is MatthewPapa, not Krackers87. Krackers is HC's admin (so you can ask also him, Dekker).

I use dreamhost.  $140 a year for 200+ gigs of disk space and 2000+ gigs of bandwidth.

I really dunno if i'll need that much................probably a gig tops.
Bandwith, i dunno.............:) whats HLPS daily traffic BW wise?
