Title: is playing a co-op campaign possible
Post by: commander DS on June 14, 2007, 03:48:38 pm
im in the middle of creating a campaign for my personal enjoyment its currently just 5 missions so far. done using inferno

im going form what i call the start of space wars to the end stating with the biggest ships being a corvette and doing missions over the course of development

really i intended this to be mulltiplayer and ive done both versions, i thought over internet would be the only way to play this campaign with some mates and then realise pxo didnt exsist any more, then i found open. ill skip the long story about trying to make it work with out errors popping up alover the place. now when i try to play fs2open in multiplayer  i just get no severs found. i thought the hole idear of this was to bring back the online side. does this mean i still got somthing wrong with it.  or that there really are no severs to play on and  theres no other way to play my campaign co-op

FS2 never had a huge number of always on stand alone servers. If you wanted to play you simply hosted your own game most of the time.

Nonetheless the stand-alone should be fixed by the 3.6.10 release with luck.
