One beautiful day, I searched around the table files and read the table where were the FS2 messages and I found the following error:
Freespace is tired. Freespace wants to sleep.
What is it?

i found that "Cable TV" was a valid subsystem..
You'd need a really long cable.

Hey, just 'cause you don't get the jokes, doesn't mean they're not funny. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

Yeah, it should have been 'satellite TV' (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

?
I think I must be agreeing with FreeSpace right now... I'm not getting all the geek jokes...
-
LOL! So that's the pilots do when they are bored...watch cable TV! (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) As Shrike said though, satellite TV would make more sense, since a cable that spans hundreds of light-years across several star systems would be quite expensive and impractical. unless they have there own little public access cable station on the ship.

*shrug*

Has anyone implemented this in a capship mod? I'd like to see if it has any special stuff attached to it. (Like weapons, reactor, weapons, and nav do.)

Its probably just scannable, and the reactor dosn't actually have any "special" stuff to it, its coded through fred.

I thought that a ship wouldn't be able to fire its beams when the reactor was destroyed.

It probably can't but you'ld have to program it so in the events menu.
