Hi, I have a problem with this campaign: The anya modified mentu cruiser appears as a ulysses fighter: During a mission when docking with this cruiser is necessary: It becomes impossible because of this. Can anybody help me find someway to correct this and continue the campaign? Looks great.
Besides, I'm also having problems with fs1 campaigns: in one called alliance, I have only 1 ml 16 available to oppose to the shivans and no missiles (not much of a fair fight), and on the other called victory, I can't start since I have no weapons at all. (????). Any advice?
Also, does anybody know if other episodes are planned in this campaign (as it says episode 1) Or is it still in the works?

I forgot: I'm using the classic fs and fs2 versions (no SCP or OPEN).

Add the tech superiority files to that list but nothing else. This is almost certainly caused by a rogue table or VP. So hunt it down and kill it. :)

Actually, I remember having the same problem... but to fix it I had to go into FRED and manually replace the textures. Really, reeeeaaaaally annoying. (I think I was using Open, though, not retail.)

I have problems with this campaign, too, but a different one: No matter how the mission Myriad (where you fly the Pegasus to scan ships before the attempt to capture the Sathanas) turns out, even cheating to control which ships survive or die, two things happen:
1. Both allied capital ships stop firing on the Sathanas when it gets down to the 10-20% range, a couple minutes after the Anya jumps in - they're usually pretty badly damaged by that point, sometimes I lose one or the other, but usually there should still be some fight left in them.
2. The debriefing insists both capital ships were destroyed, regardless if one or both survived and won't let me continue to the next mission.
I forgot where I downloaded Tech Superiority from, but I'm using three fixed missions I found in another thread (which got me through the "cinematic" mission that was giving me trouble).

But I haven't installed any MODs, simply a few campaigns:
I've got op templar, the standard FS2 campaign, great war 2 part 2 ( :lol: :lol: :lol:), second front (got a problem in here too), tech sup episode 1 and warzone.
Regarding second front: I have a problem in the "rewarding the poor" mission: When the wind has to detonate near the shivan 3rd battlegroup: I easily defend it against the swarms of fighters, but before it can dock and detonate, the capital ships flee (we are not told to disable them). What to do?
And regarding the fs1 campaigns, what's the problem with those weapons?

I also noticed that the problems were always due to the "new" ships: the anya modified mentu cruiser and the vidar explorer ship. It seems that those ships were made by the makers of those campaigns. Perhaps each ship has a special VP I don't have. In that case, were to find them?

Like I said I'm pretty certain that you have a rogue table causing this.
Do a search for *.tbl *.tbm and *.vp
On a pure retail install you shouldn't have either of the first two and should only have the VPs mentioned here.

* sparky_fs2.vp
* sparky_hi_fs2.vp
* stu_fs2.vp
* tango1_fs2.vp
* tango2_fs2.vp
* tango3_fs2.vp
* smarty_fs2.vp
* warble_fs2.vp
So tell us the names of anything else that turns up and we can tell you what to do with them.
