Try there. HotU apparently allows you to download separate files from the full download. Don't know if it works but you can always give it a shot.

No! The HOTU version is incomplete and does not have hi-res support. If you downloaded your copy from Home of the Underdogs, use Turey's installer (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,42854.0.html) to download a full copy of FreeSpace 2.

Hey, screw you, dude. :hopping: I downloaded Freespace 2 from HotU a year (or two?) ago and at least back then they had the full 1.2 retail version, minus the cutscenes. I guarantee you that it had and still has the proper sparky_hi_fs2.vp and all the other goodies. Well, of course no SCP goodness but everything that the retail is supposed to have.

You're wrong, Lobo's right. It has everything except for the cutscenes.

But woolie is also right, as the previous HOTU version didn't have them. Only the newer version.

Is the old HOTU version still lurking around?  If so, maybe you got the wrong version?

PS Lobo vs Woolie Wool... hehe.

Now that I remembered this thread, I thought I'd apologize Woolie Wool for the rudimentary start in my last post. I was somewhat edgy since the fridge in my new apartment was busted and I had to wait nearly a week to get a new one. It was starting to drive me partially insane when all I could basically have for breakfast was coffee. And water. Now that I have a new fridge full of beer and yoghurt I'm once again quite happy.
