Title: Rare adult voice offering his services (with some experiance)

Hey all! I read  here that you guys were short on adult voices so i thought I'd offer my services!

I'm 35 years old. I'm Irish but donthave an accent.. well I do but its very neutral (I've been told I'm from everywhere from germany to canada.) I'm also fairly good at changing my voice and accents. I also host a radio show every week, and I've done voice over work on a few ads for the station. So basicly I know how to speak clearly for a microphone, though I have had no real formal training, just raw experiance.

Anyway if people want to use me let me know what they want and how to go about sending you samples. I am willing to talk to people over voice software if the need stuff recorded and need me to repeat stuff for different emphasis. I'l also willing to on as many campains as people want me.

(BTW just to declare an interest, I am looking to get onto a digital media course at the end of the year so doing this will really expand my portfolio, so dont be shy. You are doing me a huge favour :D)

Could you help out Silent Threat: Reborn? They're in need of a few voices. Follow this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,47514.0.htm) link, it has a list of all the people who need voice acting for ST:R.

I put a sample of my voice on the thread :) Naturally I read the wrong thing when I was doing it (Terrans instead of shivans.. Hmm.. kill humans.. kill..) :D

How did you find out about freespace and Hard Light?

I bought the original freespace game when it came out on a friends recommendation. Enough said.

I actually did a little work for the Babylon project years ago. The shadow beam is probably the only thing of the rather crappy stuff I contributed the remains though :)

As for hard light, well I saw the trailers on youtube and dropped by.

I can hear a hint  'o the accent. My dads family's from Cork soo they're a bit "gruffer". It's all good though.

Anyone wanting a a wizened Captain, (no offense :lol:) the voice is found here!!
