Title: Star wars sounds

Hi guys.... Can you tell me how to get some star wars sound effects? I thought that some of them would fit very well into the FS2 atmosphere... Most of all, i'm searching for one particular sound: the sound of the battle droid's lasers from "Episode One: The Phantom Menace"... but i didn't find anything. I've tried to rip it from the game "Star Wars Starfighter", but i can't find the sound files: i guess they are compressed into the file "resources.pak", but i have no idea on how to open a .pak file... maybe someone of you guys can help me.... Please!

I think there were some sounds in the initial SW skirmish pack over three years ago...

Aside from that, isn't a .oak file like a zip? Have to tried to open it so you THEN can see what format the sounds are really in? (hint try winrar or winzip to open it). Sorry If I was wrong.

PLUS, the SW team more then likely do not have that sound as battle Droids are a Ground Unit...
I recommend you try GOOGLE or a Lucas/game site like the Jedi Knight series!

This more than likely resolved and he has the link. If you let posts lie they will eventually go away. Plus this is NOT an issue for the SW team...

So there is no reason to pollute their section with an uneeded and obsolete thread.
