I'm making a shield icon for that huge @$$ shivan bomber from the teaser.  Did you already make this?  I was just wondering to see what you did. (I'm doing this to be nice just incase you haven't)

I got all the frames for the shield done but when it appears ingame it looks all distorted but looks fine in ANIview.  If anyone could help that would be appriated.

edit 2: fixed this will release ani tomorrow.  needs to be tweaked a little

the ancients test demo that came out a while back

instructions:

1. download and unzip to data/hud/

2. open hud.tbl and add the line:

Code: [Select]

$Shield:     s-vind

3. open ships.tbl and look for the SB Vindachyl.  Once you find that look for 'genericshield' and change it to s-vind.

I cant get it to wark its not showing on the HUD.

try this: replaces the stuff in the tables

execpt that its not working nbci seems down..


anyway you need to look for this line in ships.tbl

Code: [Select]

$Shield_icon: genericshield
change it to

Code: [Select]

$Shield_icon: s-vind

make sure everything is spelled correctly, too.
