Hello everyone! I played FS and FS2 a LONG time ago, but I never really got into the SCP version yet.
I'm currently downloading the FS_Open right now, so I'm sure I'll be exploring some things pretty soon.
When I install FSO, do I need to connect using IRC to play, or is there some server type system pre-built within the system?
I saw a Battlestar Galactica MOD version of FS2 on YouTube... does anyone know if this will be out soon, or is already out? If so, does anyone know where a link can be found at?"
After I install FSO and I want multiple MOD versions, should I make a copy of FSO and make the other a different MOD version, or can all the same mods be placed in the same FSO folder?
- Thanks for any help

It's already out, and it's standalone, you don't need FSO to play it.

more accurately the download for the mod includes everything you need, including a FSO build.
and it's not so much out as it has released a demo, but it's playable and it's BSG so that's pretty good.
