...you (I do anyways) need motivation. I really wanna make myself useful around here, as the only thing i could be useful for is play testing :sigh:. Which is why i really want to get my grips up in FRED so i can help some of the other campaigns out or even make my own campaign...I would enter the FRED academy, but I'm just to lazy to dedicate myself to this, even with all this spare time on my hands. So i need some of you expert FREDders to help me out here, what do you guys usually do to motivate yourself to making a mission?
Thanks in advance for help :) somebody suggested i learn how to model, but i'm not creative enough for such a thing and I'm a simply rancid artist.

Get an idea nad try to make it work... a single mission that sounds cool to you..
you jsut have to keep thinking of hte finished product - that will keep you going..

I find the most inspiration in seeing other missions, how well they are FREDed. But i can't really find a story specific enough to be put into a mission..The fred academy is a good start, assuming my procrastination doesn't get me killed. :doubt:

Given that some people signed up a couple of years ago I can't really complain about procrastination. :)
Or rather I can. But I can't single you out for it.

i'm not sure if those people even know that they entered the academy...

Well they all asked to be let in. I've never needed to use the king's shilling to get people in.
