Title: Taking aaaaages to install.

I've been installing FSopen for about 4 hours, and it doesn't look like I'm even nearly finished yet. Does it always take a long time? Is it my computer? It can install new games in a few minutes, why is this taking so long? I'm going to have to leave it on overnight at this rate.

I'm sure it'll be worth it though. I'm a Starlancer/ Freelancer fan, I just re-installed Starlancer for the first time in years and while I still enjoy it, the AI is crap and shooting down torpedos is a most frustrating and stressful task. I've read that Freespace 2 is much better.

it can take about 8hrs sometimes. what speed is your internet?

EDIT the reason it takes so long is because it is installing via internet.

Ahh right. I see. My internet speed is around 8mb/s.

If you picked everything you're downloading about 2GB of data. It's gonna take a while.
