I think i originally posted this ship back in march for review, since then i have gone back and cleaned up the model and now that i know how to texture fairly well i also mapped over 70% of this tin can rather than settling with the rather crapy tile work i had done to it originally.

(ignore the rather large windows set in between the engines, i cleaned changed those out, just didn't feel like converting the revised DDS down to a truspace usable format.

Very nice detailing on some of that, I like the details inside the launch bay in particular :)

It's when I see that kind of model that I know I still have a loooooooooooooooooooooong way to go :lol: . I find this one very good, especially on the details

The eagle symbol looks like the one used by the Third Reich, but otherwise it's a great ship.

Is this for TBP? Cause that ship is definitely B5 influenced. :)

hmm... it kinda does now that i think about it. that was not not my intention, besides my eagle is better and nazis suck A**

its for my own mod im working on, im always willing to lend it out though, i'm going to rework the turrets allitle first, then i'll post for download.as for the design, i always loved the Omega's from B5, they just screamed "im a ship with a punch" so i wanted to do my own take on it.
Kick-ass work man! How many textures are you using on that thing?
the hull itself is using 3 1024 maps, and like 5-8 tiles, the overall texture count is 21, and most of that goes to the turrets. so next im going to rebuild those and map them, rather that tile them, optimize this thing as much as possible.

Although im not too fond of the design itself on some parts, its an excellent modelling job indeed.
I especially like the fighterbay area

not yet, i got side tracked with an interceptor i decided "should be built NOW!", there was fist slamming. i had to obey me. ontop of that i've been mauling over in my head how to redesign the main turrets on this thing.

is this availbe somewhere (project files as well as a finished .pof)? I've got a nice way to use it I guess

so that will give me the time to find someone who would retexture it and (maybe) replaces the turrets (making it for B5ish)

Looks kinda like an EA Omega class destroyer with that rotating thing(assuming it rotates that is)
