While bob and I polish off the code for 2.0 release we need you, the modders, to assemble a bunch of HTML with images, etc for the user guide.
I want
- Creating a model in TrueSpace for conversion (everything from basic grouping to advanced topics like autopath)
- Using PCS2
- Tips and Tricks

I've got a number of hierarchy demo images floating around from over the years. Would any of these be the kind of thing you mean?

Various hierarchies and how they will be interpreted by PCS2. Especially the ones on the right, since those could be interpreted and saved like that by 3D exploration, possibly allowing programs like Sketchup to save PCS2 compatible COBs without needing Truespace at all:

Ok, well most of the needed info already exists in Bob's PCS tutorial (http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/blackwater/fstut/fstut_index01.htm), with a bit more in the wiki entry for PCS1.
As such I guess it will be just a job of adapting the existing stuff to fit with PCS2 and the current SCP (ie, gun convergence, texture formats and the like). I'm busy for most of today, but I'll see what I can do this evening.
I think I'll just put it all in the Wiki entry for PCS2 at this stage, so if you or others see problems/possible improvments, it can easily be changed. :)

Ack, still a big job. Not sure if I'm gonna have time for this seeing as uni begins again tomorrow. :(
