Hello ppl, some time ago i mailed on this site, but although i am not active since 2002 my name and email are cached in google.  Could you remove  my one posting i made so i can instruct google to purge their cache thanks in advance.

The hardlight url (from google) that was cached is http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=858;sa=showPosts.

This was posted in 2002.

For some reason my name shows up in a <META...tag

Thanks for your help removing my id from your server.

Great show by the way with the release of BSG mod

There was an email link in this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,9097.msg162942.html#msg162942) post which I've removed. Good enough?

I guess everything is  a joke with you guys, can the the respective URL be deleted? Its from 2002. So its not gonna hurt anyone, if removed.  So i can inform google to remove the link from their cache.

Thqnks in advance for the trouble, i love your work, finally the BSG mod is out; i will check iy out soon enough.

Deleting the email will not remove it from googlecache. Google needs to hit a 404 on the cached url to be deleted. Since the thread is from 2002 i expect its relevancy to any ongoing programming or modding is nonexistant.

Its not that, they just don't see a reason.  Its not like spambots search google then spam your email...  that, and I don't think this is the right forum

Hey guys, I've looked through the cached URL that you (darthdiggie) posted but I couldn't see any names or emails, I'm not quite sure what you want removed? Could you be a bit more specific?

I'll bookmark this, keep an eye on it and if there's something I can do for you, I will. If there's no response within a week I'll go ahead and lock this myself.

Like I said, I deleted his email from the thread. It was under a different username.
