Title: So...the Alky project? Dead?

The Alky project was supposed to release a bunch of compatibility libraries that would allow DX10 to run on XP...they said late July, it's now early August, and the page hasn't been updated since May. Dead, or what?

Twas probably canned when people figured out you could run Halo 2 on XP without it.

Yea but that was just Halo 2 - the project was also supposed to let you run Shadowrun and any DX10 games.

I hope it's not dead.  I really liked DX10 on Vista, but Vista crashed all my games.  Having a way to run DX10 with XP would make my day.
