If you downloaded through my installer, you can use FreeSpace2/tools/vpview to open the .vp files.

The in-game music is in wav. The vp files are sort of storage thingies. You'll need a vp viewing program to open those. Many would suggest VPView, but I personally like QuickVP (http://scp.indiegames.us/request.php?124).

Just download it and extract the program file, then double-click on it, click the open-button, and search warble_fs2.vp from your FreeSpace 2 folder.

I should warn you that the .wavs, even once you extract them, appear to be encrypted. Your own computer will be able to play them, but converters will not recognize them, and portable music players won't play them either.

Goldwave (http://www.goldwave.com/) is one program that can undo the encryption, though.
