Heard about this documentary about the glorious state of the American healthcare system. Has anyone seen it?

I've seen it. Pretty damn good documentary. Michael Moore is a good journalist in my book.

Wow, creepy. I loaded up this thread, and an ad for Sicko popped on the TV at almost the exact same moment.

Looks interesting.

Define good journalism.  He is a good journalist because he delivers his message very effectively.  He is a bad journalist because the message he delivers effectively is his own.  He raises very good points, but every single one of his documentaries are a one edged sword.

Moore is too heavily opinionated for me too like any of his stuff.  If I watch this movie, I want to see a valid argument against his opinions too.

Good journalism to me is the one that takes up important issues, just like Michael Moore did about the ridiculous gun law in the USA and healthcare. These are things that affect majority of people.

I know Michael Moore has his flaws just like everyone else but he takes up important issues in his documentays and that is what matters, he creates debate that alot of politicians in the USA don't care about beacuse they are on payroll of some major corporation.

...one that takes up important issues, and presents both sides of the equation...
Fixed.
