Title: table trobble.

I am having trouble accessing the ship table from the core 3.4 vp.  I can extract it but I can't read it.  I am trying to open them with notepad...  What program should I be using?

It seems like the vp file is just far too large for the 'basic' tool.. I take you were using VPView?

You could try extracting files using one of the other VP tools around. For example VPMage http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/VPMage

QuickVP (http://scp.indiegames.us/request.php?124) works for me. Try that too, if all else fails.
