Title: Our very own node map
Post by: Woomeister on December 14, 2001, 04:15:00 pm

A node map for the Inferno campaign done by me using Paint, PSP 7, 3DE and TS5.
Lots of stuff is missing but that is on purpose  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Wow, the EA made some big advances - they must have blitzkrieged us or something

Then again, that area the EA is holding on that map is hardly central GTVA real estate  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif) in FS1, we only just discovered Laramis for the first time.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

One thing I notice is that the Shivans have somehow connected a world with Beltegeuse.

True. But then again, as has been noted so many times before, Shivans can do wierd things with subspace. Maybe it's one of those Red Nodes.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

New nodes have been discovered that where once unusable by the GTVA, but with new sub space tech created by the new Knossos devices, these nodes are now acessable. Once the EA took Delta Serpentis, the south map was cut off from supplies and reinforcements, and was easily taken.

Another thing, is Ikeya and  some Shivan world are connected to the Ancient's empire witha  white line. Is that a Knossos, or something else?

If the Lucifer came from there... the Ancients must have rebegun colonisation of that world.

Another node map that I should add to the growing list of them.
