I've been watching this show called Skyland, and i must say its been pretty enjoyable, and features some high flying adventures. So far I've only seen the first 12, but i know there is more to see. anyone else seen the show?

Yeah, I've seen the show. It's alright and the graphics are pretty good.

I've seen a couple of disconnected episodes, and I mainly wish the voice-acting for the main characters was better and that people had better models. Seriously, they can make a ship like the one you posted but people have to have balloons for heads?

I haven't watched it consecutively but I have watched it and very much enjoyed it. Even without watching the credits you can tell its Canadian although if you're not Canadian you may miss that. Also very French influenced and if you watch the credits then you see how the connection is made (written in Ontario, CG done in France I believe is the combination). So I have a little patriotic streak running here for a moment but I think its great that something at this stage has been borne out of our highly talented industry that usually gets no funding so it can't do anything.
I will say that the art style is very unusual. Some of the scenes are stunning....completely stunning...while the character animation and visuals don't seem to quite match up. That said...its been getting better since they started. If you watch one of the later episodes you start to see the improvement. I don't know how many I've seen but Teletoon is showing them all the time.

yeah, apparently the the animation is all MoCaped. it definitely has the feeling of a Canadian animation though.

I saw a music video on Youtube and read about it on Wiki after seeing this thread, it looks very interesting :) Maybe I can "aquire" some episodes when I get to college :)
